Proposed Timeline for Denton Reads - Orson Scott Card

• 12:00- Donna Kearley Picks up the Cards in Grapevine.
• 12:45- Lunch at Hannah’s with library directors and DR committee members.
• 2:00- Gayla and Thom arrive at John Guyer High School. Make certain everything is set up for the event.
• 2:15- Volunteers arrive at John Guyer. Gayla assigns duties to volunteers with Thom’s assistance. The Cards arrive at John Guyer High School.
• 2:30- Volunteers get their books signed by Mr. Card in the adjacent gym.
• 3:00- Musicians start playing in the John Guyer main gymnasium. Volunteers take up their assigned duties.
• 4:00- Mr. Card’s presentation starts.
• 5:00- Book signing starts.
• 6:30- Event ends.
